We are a mixed practice in the heart of the Peak District. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open six days a week and have access to our own 24-hour emergency care that our own vets are responsible for at the practice.
Richard joined the practice in 2007 as a mixed practice vet, specialising in farm animal medicine, having graduated from Glasgow University in 2005. Prior to this he had been working at a mixed practice in Yorkshire for two years. Following Eddie’s retirement Richard became senior vet at the practice, and is currently our clinical director. When not working he enjoys going walking with his wife and their two daughters (future vets) and their two dogs, Coire and Milo.
